Industrial Survey
The Industrial Survey is a monthly business opinion survey designed to capture trends in industrial activity and expectations of entrepreneurs. Carried out since 1998 and currently conducted in partnership with 25 Federations of Industry, the Industrial Survey generates results by company size, geographic regions and activity sectors of Manufacturing and Mining and quarrying industries.
Industrial activity heated up in October
October 2024 was a month of high industrial activity. In the view of business owners, the growth of industrial production from September to October was stronger than usual, the number of employees increased in the period, when a decrease is usually observed, and the use of installed capacity increased by two percentage points, to 74%, three percentage points above the historical average for the month.
