Construction Industry Survey
The Construction Survey was launched in 2010 along the lines of the Industrial Survey. As a business opinion survey, it is intended to capture trends in activity and expectations of entrepreneurs in the construction industry. The survey is carried out monthly in partnership with 23 Federations of Industry and the Brazilian Chamber of Construction Industry (CBIC). Results are presented by company size and activity sectors.
High interest rates return to the top of the main problems ranking
In the first quarter of 2026, among the main problems faced by the Construction Industry, there was a change in the hierarchy of obstacles. High interest rates moved into first position, followed by the high tax burden. Next, the lack of unskilled labor was cited. In the same period, entrepreneurs' perception of the financial conditions of the construction industry deteriorated.
