Construction Industry Survey
The Construction Survey was launched in 2010 along the lines of the Industrial Survey. As a business opinion survey, it is intended to capture trends in activity and expectations of entrepreneurs in the construction industry. The survey is carried out monthly in partnership with 23 Federations of Industry and the Brazilian Chamber of Construction Industry (CBIC). Results are presented by company size and activity sectors.
Activity in the construction industry remains high
The use of operational capacity remained at a high level, while the indices of activity level evolution and employment registered values much above the usual for the month. Taken together, the indices show that the business owners' assessment, in general, is of a favorable performance of their companies in the month.
