Construction Industry Survey
The Construction Survey was launched in 2010 along the lines of the Industrial Survey. As a business opinion survey, it is intended to capture trends in activity and expectations of entrepreneurs in the construction industry. The survey is carried out monthly in partnership with 23 Federations of Industry and the Brazilian Chamber of Construction Industry (CBIC). Results are presented by company size and activity sectors.
Construction entrepreneurs are more optimistic
All expectations indices registered growth from May to June 2026. Notably, the expectations index for new ventures and services crossed the 50 point dividing line, indicating that entrepreneurs have started to expect growth. The other expectations indices show more widespread expectations of increases in the number of employees, purchases of inputs and raw materials, and the activity level over the next six months.
