Industrial Survey
The Industrial Survey is a monthly business opinion survey designed to capture trends in industrial activity and expectations of entrepreneurs. Carried out since 1998 and currently conducted in partnership with 25 Federations of Industry, the Industrial Survey generates results by company size, geographic regions and activity sectors of Manufacturing and Mining and quarrying industries.
Signs of loss of rhythm and decline in demand
The industry accumulates signs of loss of rhythm and of declining demand. In September, production levels remained stable; however, there was an accumulation of unwanted inventory from August to September 2025. At the same time, the problem of insufficient internal demand consolidated as the second-ranking issue facing the industry, behind high tax burdens and ahead of high interest rates.
