Industry’s importance for Brazil

In 2021, Industry accounted for 22.2% of GDP and 71.8% of Brazilian goods and services exports. The most recent data available indicates also that the industrial sector has a 68.6% share of business R&D spending and a 32.9% share of the federal taxes (except the social security taxes).
