The Industry in Figures presents measures of Brazilian industry performance in the short-term. A set of selected indicators describes the current situation of industry, for instance, production, employment, sales and exports. Structural statistics shows the importance of industry in Brazilian economy, its competitiveness and sectoral dynamics.


Brazilian Industry in Figures

The publication presents short term and structural indicators – production, level of inventories, business confidence, costs, productivity, among others. In the current edition, we highlight Brazilian Industry’s real sales index, which was up 2.3% in August 2020, surpassing pre-crisis levels observed in February 2020.
