On March 5 and 6, the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), in partnership with its Swedish counterpart, Business Sweden, will hold the 1st Plenary Meeting of the Brazil–Sweden Business Council at CNI’s headquarters in Brasília – DF.
The meeting aims to bring together the Brazilian and Swedish business communities to discuss initiatives to expand bilateral trade and investment, as well as to strengthen economic and business cooperation between the two countries on strategic issues of the international agenda.
This first edition of the Council will focus on discussions regarding the economic outlook of Brazil and Sweden, opportunities for industrial partnerships, innovation and technological cooperation, energy transition, industrial decarbonization, digitalization, and sustainable development, with an emphasis on building long-term joint agendas.
About the Council
The Brazil–Sweden Business Council is a bilateral, exclusively business-oriented mechanism created to promote structured dialogue between companies and representative entities from both countries, with the aim of identifying opportunities, reducing barriers, and fostering economic and industrial cooperation.
The Brazilian Section of the Council is secretariated by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI), while the Swedish Section is coordinated by Business Sweden, the official Swedish trade and investment promotion agency.
