CNI Diplomatic Briefing

The Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) will be holding the 16th Diplomatic Briefing video conference, on Tuesday, June 22, 2021, from 10 am to 11 am.
The event is the main mechanism of interaction between the diplomatic corps residing in Brasilia and the CNI and has been redesigned to be more interactive and dynamic.
In this edition, CNI’s representatives will debate the Brazilian political-economic scenario, presenting the panorama of the last six months and the future perspectives. The meeting will be led by the Director of CNI, SENAI and SESI, Rafael Lucchesi.
The CNI Diplomatic Briefing is excluvive to members of the diplomatic community and can be extended to their respective consular offices based in Brazil.
English simultaneous interpretation will be available.

Rafael Lucchesi
Director of Education and Technology at CNI, Director General of SENAI and Director Superintendent of SESI
Economist and professor at the State University of Bahia. He is Co-Chairman of the Skills Accelerator of the World Economic Forum Brazil and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the BNDES, and heads other boards of public companies and other institutions. He is also President of Worldskills Americas and official delegate of Brazil to Worldskills and was a member of the Worldskills Council. Lucchesi served in the Government of Bahia as Secretary of State for Science, Technology, and Innovation and as President of the National Council of Secretary for Science, Technology, and Innovation Affairs - CONSECTI. He led the implementation of SENAI Institutes of Innovation and Technology and the creation of the Brazilian Association for Industrial Research and Innovation - EMBRAPII.
Mônica Messenberg
Director of Institucional Relations
Mônica Messenberg holds a degree in Economics and a Master in International Economy from the University of Brasilia (UnB). She serves as Director of Institucional Relations at the National Confederation of Industry (CNI). Prior to joining CNI in 2010, Ms. Mônica Messenberg had worked for 15 years in Planning and Controlling areas, Development, Implementation and Administration of programs for the Brazilian government, where she occupied a high-level position.
