SENAI receives Chinese representatives to discuss technical cooperation in education and innovation
Confederação Nacional da Indústria (CNI) is mobilizing efforts to strengthen and expand strategic relations with China. This Tuesday (25), representatives from Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Industrial (SENAI) will receive 33 Chinese representatives from professional education and technological innovation institutions. The aim is to explore opportunities for technical cooperation in skills development and vocational training.
The China-Brazil Dialogue on Talent Cultivation and Innovation for the Green Economy runs until Wednesday (26). The agenda of the meetings takes place in Mato Grosso, Rio de Janeiro, Santa Catarina, and São Paulo. China's International Alliance for Skills Development (IASDBR) leads the delegation.
The expectation is that exchanging experience with the Chinese will promote technical cooperation agreements and joint projects that will benefit both countries, boosting sustainable and innovative progress in industry and education.
Brazil-China trade relations
China is the 8th largest direct investor in Brazil. In 2023, Brazilian exports to the Asian country totaled US$ 104.3 billion, an increase of 16.97% compared to 2022, when the figure was US$ 89.4 billion. In 2024, Brazil and China will celebrate 50 years of diplomatic relations and 30 years of strategic partnership.
