Challenges for Industry 4.0 in Brazil

This study conduced by the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI) and the Industrial Policy Council present the impacts expected from the Industry 4.0 revolution and propose an agenda to spread these technologies within the brazilian industry. This agenda features seven priority dimensions: i) applications in productive chains and development of suppliers; ii) mechanisms to drive foster the adoption of new technologies; iii) technological development; iv) expansion and improvements in broadband infrastructure; v) regulatory issues; vi) human resources development; and vii) institutional coordination.
