Industrial entrepreneurs reveal a decrease in optimism
In March 2024, industry’s expectation indices signal a decrease in industrial entrepreneurs’ optimism. The expectation indices for demand, exports and purchases of input and raw materials are at a lower level than that usual for the month. This setback in optimism occurred even after more favorable results from the economic activity in February, a month in which there was an increase in industrial employment, a milder than usual decline in production and a drop in stock levels.
